Salem & Woodburn Teen Court

Committed to promoting brighter futures for the youth of today

Salem Teen Court serves youth ages 12-17 who have committed a first-time non-violent offense in the City of Salem. A jury of teens, with the guidance of a volunteer legal professional, determine an act of contrition for participants to complete and gives the offender the opportunity to have their record expunged.

Salem Teen Court sees between 70-100 cases per year. We strive to accommodate and support all teens, including access to technology and basic needs. Salem Teen Court is not only committed to clearing the record of the teen, but also to providing them the tools to succeed in society and achieve future success.

Exciting News! The Teen Court program through the Boys & Girls Club has expanded to Woodburn!

How to Get Involved

Teen Court is possible thanks to a partnership between Boys & Girls Club, Chemeketa Community College, Marion County Juvenile Department, Marion County Circuit Court and all the volunteers and donors from the legal community. Thank you for giving your time, space, services and skills!
