Addressing Oregon’s opportunity and skills gap for hard to reach youth.
T3: Training Teens for Tomorrow (T3) is a subsidiary program of the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties. T3 is an intentional response to Oregon’s youth academic and career-related skills gap. T3 focuses on teen education and employment opportunities and prepares hard-to-reach youth with a 21st century skill set.
T3 has a history of embracing at-risk youth and showing them that they have potential to find success. Many of these youth are burdened with multiple barriers to their education and employment, including financial insecurity, behavior delinquency, lack of adult support, teen pregnancy and substance abuse.
T3: Program Service Model
T3: Training Teens for Tomorrow is a 12-month, comprehensive education, prevention and employment program in which youth have access to internships, paid apprenticeships and employment.
