 When youngsters enter one of the neighborhood youth centers of the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties, they enter a haven of warmth and security... a place where kids meet positive role models. Where they can go to talk - and be heard. A place where they can develop confidence and feel good about themselves. A home away from home.
Each Boys & Girls Club membership opens up a world of opportunity - from computers, homework help, athletics and leadership training to special teen services, job training, community service, river rafting, cooking, museum tours, reading contests and dances.
Remarkably, the cost of a youngster's membership is just $5.00 per program year.
